Economic Development Authority Real Estate Committee Cancels May Meeting and Reschedules June

The Economic Development Authority (EDA) Real Estate Committee has canceled their Thursday, May 2 meeting. The EDA Real Estate Committee has also rescheduled their June meeting from Thursday, June 6 to Thursday, June 13 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

The Real Estate Committee calendar is available online and is a three-member subcommittee of the EDA.

The EDA is a seven-member volunteer board whose members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and serve staggered four-year terms. The Authority’s function is to pursue and comply with the goals and objectives set forth in the Comprehensive Plan; to advise the Board of Supervisors through the County Administrator of any application made by an agent or representative of a prospective facility requesting the Authority to issue bonds; and to advise the governing body of James City County of the potential location of the facility.
