[ARCHIVED] DJG Inc. Named One of the Best Places to Work in Virginia

On Feb. 2, Virginia Business announced its 2018 Best Places to Work in Virginia and named DJG Inc. (DJG) as one of the winners. The 2018 Best Places to Work in Virginia list is made up of 100 companies. There were 175 entrants this year and winners were selected in three categories: small (15-99 U.S. employees), midsize (100-249) and large (250 or more). Companies and their employees were surveyed and benchmarked based on core values, work environment and employee satisfaction.

This is the third consecutive time DJG has been named one of the Best Places to Work in Virginia. This year, they ranked eighth out of 56 in the Small Businesses category.

DJG is the only full service, multi-discipline engineering and architecture firm headquartered on the Virginia Peninsula. DJG was founded in 1978 and their project portfolio includes military, state and municipal government, higher education, housing authorities and private sectors. The majority of their projects are located in Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland. DJG is a SWaM certified Small Business with Virginia. It employs 25 people and is currently hiring engineers (electrical, structural, mechanical and civil), and an architect.

This is the eighth year that Virginia Business has compiled the Best Places to Work in Virginia list in cooperation with Pennsylvania-based Best Companies Group.
